                <title>At sea</title>

                <description><![CDATA[My original plan was to quit my job and then spend a week hanging out with the cat instead of doing anything. Instead his health problems got worse - much worse - very quickly, and he passed away Monday the 18th. Now not only am I mourning my friend but the structure of attending to his daily needs is gone; I feel unmoored, to say the least. He was the first pet I&#039;ve had as an adult, and the first cat I&#039;ve spent any real time with. I don&#039;t want to write about him in detail yet, or really talk ab...]]></description>

                <title>I quit my job!</title>

But for now I’m going to be unemployed for at least a couple of months, which is genuinely terrifying but also exciting.
